TIPS AND IDEAS FOR COOKING YOUR VEGETABLES

Kale (steam, cook down like mustard greens/collards, or some like it raw on salads)

Pac choi (used in stir frys)

Butter crunch Lettuce (leaf lettuce for salads, burgers, etc.)

Turnips (both root and greens are eatable.  cook roots similar to
potatoes, season salt/pepper, cook greens like mustard/collards, can both be
cooked together) If you find them to peppery when cooking the greens, cook them once pour off
the water add fresh water and cook them again.  This helps a bit!

Green onions (use in most any stew, salad, stir fry, etc.  Even the tiny seeds on some of the
bunches are great to add a little onion flavor to a salad)
